one: on the way home the other day I saw a bra sitting on the subway tracks. It looked clean, like it had been tossed down there only hours before. It was a plain bra, white with scalloped edges, not the kind of undergarment I'd imagine someone wearing while doing a striptease in a public place.

two: yesterday on the way to the gym I passed over a subway vent. I was wearing a loose skirt and had an awkward, several-seconds-long Marilyn Monroe moment. I was wearing a sage-green lace Hanky Panky thong and everyone on Broadway and 19th at the time saw it. It was embarrassing.
